ENGLISH ST BERNARD CLUB LIMIT SHOW

14 OCTOBER 2007

Judge: Shelley Woodbury Smith

It was an honour and pleasure to judge this show, I thank the committee for all their hard work into making the day so enjoyable, the exhibitors for the excellent entry and the work in preparing their dogs.

Overall, I felt that movement has improved and presentation was good. I found a great variance in type, particularly with heads and I was concerned to see so many dogs with small teeth and gaps where teeth should be. I felt eyes had improved, were much more tight and generally dark.

Quite a few dogs would benefit from some free exercise to gain all round muscle, an aspect I feel very important in a working breed.
